keeps a convoy in touch when the cellphone network runs out. Each vehicle carries a phone paired with a small LoRa
radio; the radios form a mesh that carries messages from vehicle to vehicle across kilometres of mountain passes, valleys
and bush — no towers, no internet. Where there is signal, the same messages also travel over Wi-Fi and mobile data.
